Electric boilers can provide primary heat to your home or office building. They also are efficient and durable heating devices for warm floor heating applications. The boiler heats water, which is circulated through a piping system in a concrete floor or the sand beneath the concrete.
An electric boiler can be used in conjunction with a fossil fuel boiler to qualify for Dakota Valley Electric's dual-heating rate. At peak periods, Dakota Valley would remotely switch your heating system over to the fossil fuel furnace.
Operating Cost:
A typical 1,600-square-foot home in North Dakota can be heated for less than $500 a year using an electric boiler system in a dual-heating application.
Dakota Valley Electric's ERC Loan Program:
We provide up to $5000 financing for the purchase and installation of an electric boiler system. Up to 7 years at 5% interest with monthly payments.
